Thank you for choosing our salon. We are committed to providing every client with a professional, welcoming and relaxing experience. To ensure appointments run smoothly and fairly for everyone, we kindly ask that you read the following Salon Policies before your visit.
These policies apply to all salon appointments unless otherwise stated. Please also refer to our Hair Appointment Policies or Nail Appointment Policies for service-specific information.
Booking Deposits
A booking deposit is required to secure all appointments.
Booking deposits are non-refundable but are redeemable against your appointment, provided our cancellation policy has been followed.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We kindly ask that if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you provide at least 12 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 12 hours' notice will result in the loss of your booking deposit.
Clients who fail to attend their appointment without prior notice ("no-shows") will also forfeit their booking deposit.
We understand that genuine emergencies can arise, and we will always do our best to be understanding where exceptional circumstances apply. However, as appointments are reserved exclusively for you, late cancellations and no-shows leave insufficient time for us to offer the appointment to another client.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in future bookings requiring payment in full in advance or, at the salon's discretion, future appointments being declined.
Patch Testing
The safety of our clients is our priority. Patch testing is required before certain services to help identify any potential allergic reactions.
A patch test is required:
A patch test may also be required if:
Patch tests must be completed before your appointment.
Failure to attend your scheduled patch test may result in your appointment being postponed or cancelled until a patch test has been carried out.
For health and safety reasons, we cannot proceed with colour, brow tinting or brow waxing services without a valid patch test where one is required.
Children Attending the Salon
We understand that arranging childcare isn't always possible. However, to ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all our clients, we kindly ask that children only accompany you to your appointment if they are able to sit quietly and patiently for the full duration of your service.
As a guide, we recommend that accompanying children are 10 years of age or older, although we appreciate that every child is different and trust parents and guardians to use their own judgement when deciding whether this is suitable.
Our salon is a busy working environment where sharp tools, hot equipment, professional products and chemicals are used throughout both our hair and nail services. These can pose a risk to children if they are left unsupervised or move around the salon.
Children must remain seated beside their parent or guardian at all times and must not run around, disturb other clients or interfere with the work being carried out.
Our team are unable to supervise accompanying children while providing treatments. If a child is preventing us from maintaining a safe working environment, disrupting the salon, or affecting our ability to safely complete your service, we reserve the right to pause, amend or discontinue the appointment. In these circumstances, your booking deposit may be forfeited in accordance with our Salon Policies.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, professional and relaxing environment for both our clients and our team.
Right to Refuse Service
Our team reserve the right to refuse or discontinue any service where we believe it is unsafe or inappropriate to proceed.
This may include, but is not limited to:
Any decision to refuse a service will always be made with the health, safety and wellbeing of our clients and team in mind.
Personal Belongings
While every care is taken, personal belongings are brought into the salon at the owner's risk. We cannot accept responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal items.
Changes to Your Appointment
If you wish to change or add services to your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
Whilst we will always do our best to accommodate requests, additional services can only be carried out if sufficient appointment time is available.
Nail Appointment Policies
At our salon, we are committed to providing every client with a professional, high-quality service in a safe and welcoming environment. To ensure appointments run smoothly for everyone, we kindly ask that you read and adhere to the following Nail Appointment Policies.
Existing Product Removal
To maintain the highest standard of service, we do not offer infills or refills over work completed by another salon or nail technician.
If you are arriving with existing gel polish, BIAB, acrylic, gel extensions, ProPress or any other nail enhancement applied elsewhere, a Removal service must be booked alongside your nail appointment.
If you are unsure whether you require a removal, please contact the salon before booking.
Unfortunately, if removal has not been booked and there is insufficient time within your appointment, we may be unable to carry out your nail service. In these circumstances, your appointment cannot be guaranteed and may need to be rescheduled. As the required removal time was not booked, your booking deposit may also be forfeited.
Nail Art & French Tips
Nail art and French tips require additional appointment time and must be selected when booking.
To allow enough time for your appointment, please choose the appropriate nail art option when booking:
If nail art or French tips have not been added to your booking, we may not have sufficient time to complete them during your appointment. While we will always do our best to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee additional services on the day.
Underage Clients
The health and safety of our younger clients is our priority. To help protect developing natural nails, we have the following minimum age requirements:
Proof of age may be requested where appropriate. We reserve the right to refuse or amend a service if we believe it is not suitable for the client or does not meet our salon policies.
Late Arrivals
We understand that delays can happen, and we allow a 15-minute grace period for BIAB, ProPress and Gel Extension appointments where possible.
BIAB, ProPress & Gel Extension Appointments
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we will be unable to carry out your booked service as there will no longer be enough time allocated.
Where possible, we may be able to offer an alternative, shorter service during your remaining appointment time, such as:
Alternative services are subject to availability and the time remaining in your appointment.
If no suitable alternative can be provided, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. In line with our salon policies, your booking deposit may be forfeited.
Gel Polish Appointments
As Gel Polish appointments are shorter in duration, we are only able to allow a maximum late arrival of 5 minutes.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, unfortunately there will not be enough time to complete your service to our usual standard. Your appointment will therefore need to be cancelled or rescheduled, and your booking deposit may be forfeited in accordance with our cancellation policy.
We appreciate your understanding, as this helps us remain on schedule and provide every client with the time and attention they deserve.
Nail Health
The health of your natural nails is our priority. Before every appointment, your nail technician will assess your nails to ensure they are suitable for the service you have booked.
For health and safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse or modify a service if we believe it is not appropriate to proceed. This includes, but is not limited to:
If we are unable to carry out your treatment due to the condition of your nails, we will explain the reason and, where appropriate, recommend seeking advice from a medical professional before rebooking.
Please let us know when booking if you have any concerns regarding the health of your nails. This helps us advise you on the most suitable appointment and avoid disappointment on the day.
Our technicians will never apply products to nails where doing so could compromise your nail health or wellbeing.
Regular Air-Dry Nail Varnish
We specialise exclusively in professional gel nail services and therefore do not offer traditional air-dry nail varnish services.
All of our nail treatments are carried out using professional gel products to ensure long-lasting, high-quality results.
If you are unsure which nail service is right for you, please don't hesitate to contact the salon before booking and we will be happy to advise you.
Hair Appointment Policies
Thank you for choosing us for your hair appointment. Our policies are designed to ensure appointments run smoothly while allowing our stylists to provide every client with the highest standard of care and service. Please take a moment to read the information below before your visit.
Please also refer to our Salon Policies for information regarding cancellations, booking deposits, patch testing and other policies that apply to all salon appointments.
Colour Consultations
Every colour appointment begins with a professional consultation.
Our stylists will assess your hair, discuss your desired result and advise whether your goal is achievable whilst maintaining the health and integrity of your hair.
Please be honest during your consultation and inform your stylist of any previous colour history, box dyes, henna, chemical treatments, medications or anything else that may affect your hair.
We reserve the right to refuse, amend or postpone a colour service if we believe the desired result cannot be achieved safely within one appointment or without compromising the health and integrity of your hair.
Late Arrivals
We understand that delays can happen, and we allow a 10-minute grace period for hair appointments where possible.
As the length of hair appointments varies depending on the service booked, arriving late may mean we are unable to complete your appointment as planned.
Where time allows, we may be able to:
If there is insufficient time to carry out your appointment safely and to our usual standard, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and your booking deposit may be forfeited in accordance with our Salon Policies.
Hair Health
The health of your hair will always come before achieving a particular result.
If your stylist believes your hair is not in a suitable condition for the requested service, or that the desired result cannot be achieved safely, we reserve the right to refuse or amend the service.
Our recommendations will always be made in the best interests of maintaining the health and integrity of your hair.
HeadSpa Policies
Our HeadSpa treatments are designed to provide a luxurious, relaxing experience while promoting a healthy scalp and hair. To help us deliver the best possible treatment, please read the following policies before your appointment.
Preparing for Your HeadSpa
For the best experience, we recommend arriving at your appointment wearing little or no makeup, as elements of the treatment involve water, massage and facial contact which may affect your makeup.
Hair Extensions
Unfortunately, HeadSpa treatments cannot be carried out on clients wearing hair extensions.
The products, oils, massage techniques and specialist tools used throughout the treatment can damage both the extensions and your natural hair.
For this reason, we are unable to make exceptions.
Late Arrivals – Head Spa Appointments
Deluxe HeadSpa
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may be able to offer a Signature HeadSpa instead, depending on the time remaining in your appointment.
If this is not possible, your appointment may need to be rescheduled in line with our Salon Policies.
Signature HeadSpa
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, unfortunately there will not be enough time to complete your treatment.
Where possible, we may instead offer a blow dry during your remaining appointment time. If this is not suitable, your appointment will need to be rescheduled, and your booking deposit may be forfeited in accordance with our Salon Policies.
Medical Conditions & Contraindications
Your health, safety and comfort are our priority. To ensure your HeadSpa treatment is suitable for you, please inform us before your appointment if you have any medical conditions or concerns that may affect your treatment.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Please notify us of any changes to your health, medication or medical history before your appointment.
For health and safety reasons, we reserve the right to modify, postpone or refuse a HeadSpa treatment if we believe it is not suitable to proceed. This decision will always be made in the best interests of your health and wellbeing.
